An Artist is someone who creates art. A Creative is someone who chooses to share their art with the world.
I see myself as both!

Jha’Neal Blue is an artist and performer, proud to call Baltimore, Maryland, her home. Her artistic journey began at the age of ten when she enthusiastically participated in her school's Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. oratory competition, securing a well-deserved first-place award under the guidance of her media arts instructor, Bashi Rose. During high school, Blue became an essential part of the esteemed Floetic Lyricists group, where she delved deep into self-reflection, exploring the impact of her poetry on the world. She is thankful to her former advisor, Bill Bleich, for helping her refine her literary skills. It was with the support of Floetic Lyricists that she found her place in the vibrant creative community of Dewmore Baltimore.
In the vibrant world of Dewmore, Blue emerged as a vital member of the Baltimore City Youth Poetry Team, contributing her talents as one-fifth of the ensemble. Their collective efforts led to significant success, as they claimed victory in numerous slams for an impressive three-year streak. In a triumphant turn of events, Blue took on the role of co-captain in 2016, leading the Baltimore City Youth Poetry Team to their inaugural win in HBO's prestigious International Brave New Voices competition.
After her college journey, Blue's unwavering commitment brought her back to the team's embrace. She began as an Assistant Voice & Movement coach, and her impact was so profound that she soon ascended to the position of Head Coach. In this role, she shared her wisdom with young participants, drawing from her own experience: speak from the heart, and the rest will naturally follow. Notably, these efforts culminated in 2021 when the Baltimore City Youth Poetry Team secured a commendable 2nd place in the Brave New Voices competition.
While her presence in the artistic world has been constant throughout her life, Blue's formal acting journey started at Frostburg State University. There, she had the chance to showcase her multifaceted talents across various dimensions. Alongside gracing the stage with her prowess, she explored the realms of playwriting and directing. Impressively, Blue has authored over twenty-five short plays and films.
Blue's acting journey shines with several noteworthy roles, such as her portrayal of Chelle in "Detroit ‘67," Harry in "Harry & The Thief," Love in "The Color Brown," and Nina in "Sunset Baby." This devotion to her craft is deeply intertwined with her sense of duty to her younger siblings. She ardently champions the belief that dreams are within reach, not only for herself but as a living testament to inspire her beloved siblings.
